Q. What is the membership base of the SSAA?

A. Over 850 members and growing the Self Storage Association of Australasia (SSAA) is the peak industry body representing the self storage industry of Australia and New Zealand.

Q. What types of Membership are available with the SSAA?

A. Facility Membership Under 50 Spaces, Facility Membership Over 50 Spaces, Additional Facility, Real Estate Office Membership, Service Membership, Provisional Membership and Associate Membership.

Q. What does it cost to be a member?

A. The cost of your membership will depend on the type of membership you select. Please lodge a membership application inquiry. Alternatively, please contact or phone 03 9466 9699 to ascertain the cost.

Q. Can I pay my membership by credit card?

A. Yes! The SSAA is equipped to take credit card payments. Please contact 03 9466 9699 to make payment via credit card.

Q. When are my membership fees due?

A. Membership is paid annually and is due on the 31 st of October each year.

Q. How do I pay my membership fees?

A. Payment can be made by EFT or credit card.

Q. What are the benefits of becoming a SSAA member?

A. The SSAA provides support, education, advocacy and advice to members, to the full capacity of our resources. Supplementary, specialist and customised products may also be made available, on a fee for service basis, at special rates for members in most cases. Such products may include but are not limited to:

Seminars, Workshops, Conferences, Training Courses, Mystery Shopping, Award for Excellence Programs, Marketing Opportunities, Legal Help Desk, HR Help Desk.

Q. How is SSAA funded?

A. We are a not for profit member based organisation.
